This week I began working with GIS and creating polygons around the groves. I also began the overlaying the 1989 map the search for expansion.

Over the break I spent 11 days on SRI on this trip I GPS waypointed 1600 tress and still have many more to go. The project is moving foward and the GIS work is starting to move foward.
Next Tuesday capstone students embark on the week long trip to the research station. This will be a good chance to get many of the groves out liars pin pointed with GPS.
